Find Peace in your Heart

by going inward…

What do I mean by ‘going inward’? Leaving the outer world of the senses – and experiencing the inner world where you can ‘just be’, recoup, relax and find stillness.

It takes practice. Much of it is learning to consciously breath. Also, being vigilant at catching yourself holding your breath.

Why Practice Yoga?

Here are a few of the reasons to practice yoga:

  • Improves Flexibility
  • Builds Muscle Strength
  • Perfects Your Posture
  • Helps One Relax
  • Calms Your Nervous System

Rejuvenate and Relax

If you are looking to relax and unwind I may be the right yoga teacher for you. I specialize in deep relaxation. Almost every class start on the ground lying on the floor relaxing and ends in the same way. The aim is to finish your practice rejuvenated, relaxed and energized.

Is it a Religion?

No, but it can be a spiritual practice if that is what you are seeking in your life. I am a Christian who loves to practice and teach yoga. I have friends and students who are of all faiths. The mind, body and spirit connection easily takes you to a place of connection with God.

Holistic Lifestyle Practice

One starts to tap into what they are feeling in their body as they progress in their yoga practice. Hopefully, being able to feel the difference between a good stretch and pushing to hard to the point of pain. The poses stretch, strengthen and create balance in the body.
